Thanks ! I can do the work myself, I think a short block, gaskets, and a new turbo are about all I need. From the looks of it, probably gonna run me 2500ish for parts. Couldn't find a ej255 for less than 5k, so I think short block is gonna be the way to go

Okay thank you. Right now I'm considering an ej255 short block reman. I've thought about swapping out for a 2010-2011 engine, but can't find anything about this swap if it's possible

It's a 2005 auto gt. I had an 08 manual gt, so Im looking at hoses I've never had to identify lol. It does have the filter on the driver side, I think you're right on being #16
