  4. I'd do the finger test next and then swap coils if compression feels strong. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  5. Is it recommended to put any type of sealant on the head gasket? High tack or anything of the sort? New short block, OEM gaskets and rebuilt cylinder heads. Thanks! Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  6. Do your TGV sensors have the gear on them? Could you link the post you mentioned for the correct way to align them please? Thanks! Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk

  8. Bought this kit used and didn't end up using it. Everything is in used but good condition. It's the kit made by Infamous tuning. There is a thread with install instructions here on the forum. $175 shipped in the US. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  9. I want to shout out to Benny at subaruonlineparts.com. Their prices are good, for being a dealer[emoji6]. The communication from Benny and the other parts guys is good. So far I'm pleased with our transactions. I'll be pulling the trigger on a short block with all the fixings this week! Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  10. So I bought these tools. I'm wondering if it's worth loaning them out? I guess I'll put it up here and find out. Here is what I'm thinking. Venmo only. It's easy to download and set up. $100 to me, use the tools and return them and I return $85. I pay shipping to you, part of the $15 not given back, and you pay the shipping back to me. If you choose not to return the tools, I have my costs covered and they become your tools. Sounds simple enough. Email: hamyscj@gmail.com Text: 7172868906 Or PM me here although I don't always seem to get notifications. To keep it all accountable, I will post up when someone has them and when the tools are returned. Let's let the forum be the community it is meant to be! Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  11. Is there anyone in south central Pa who would be willing to loan me the cam sprocket holding tools? I know they are not that expensive but it's money to spend elsewhere. Thanks! Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  12. Well that was fun...[emoji849] Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  13. Power steering, no problem. A/C on the other hand... it looks like the lower bolts would be a bugger to get to without taking the intake off, which I wanted to do on the engine stand. It is what it is... Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  14. It's out... Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  15. As soon as I saw this mount after removing the intercooler, I knew what a pitch stop was! Thanks for clarifying! Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  16. No plans at the moment. Unless someone can convince me to part with it, I'll keep it for now. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  17. Sorry, the picture must suck. It's not coming out of the bottom. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  18. Tomorrow the engine will be out. We did a timing belt and water pump a few months ago. A few days before Christmas it developed a knock. We pulled the front covers back off to check the timing belt tensioner and didn't see anything suspicious there. So the engine will come out. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  19. So we started the father/son project today. With a twist...son just graduated college in December and landed a $50k/yr job so he is paying for all the goodies!!! Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  20. Sorry for the dumass question but what is a pitch stop? I've been in the biz for a long time but never heard that term before. I love learning new things! Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  21. Links are not working from original post. Is Infamous still in business? Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
