  1. I have seen some other bluetooth adapters that will do what we are looking to do, I think... we are not looking for anything real deep like data logging and such. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  2. Just reading about it on his website... Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  3. What is the "patch" referred to, how does one get that parch if needed and when will one know that he needs the patch? Thanks! I did email the developer but have not heard anything yet... Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  4. I will look at that. Thanks! Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  5. So we just spent all the money on the new engine and stuff. Now we need to monitor everything. What is the most reasonable way to do this? Oil pressure, coolant temp and boost are probably the top 3. Maybe trans temp. I'm not necessarily looking for the cheapest option, just the most reasonable. It's a stock engine so egt's shouldn't be a concern. 2008 OBXT 5EAT Thanks! Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  6. $50 for the belt tensioner, $15 for shipping, the rest for free. So $65 for the lot... Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  7. Gave away the rear main seals and valve spring keepers to the kid that bought the short block. The rest is still available. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  8. Sold!! Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  9. Someone needs this... make me an offer... Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  10. They be going in the trash soon... Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  11. You are correct. AVCS on all cams. The swap has been done, it's not impossible and even seems to work well. The main reason I did not go that route was the unknown of the engine I'd be getting, and availability of replacement parts. Some are the same as USDM engines, some are not. That being said, a short block from Subaru does not end with the cost of the engine and gasket set. At least, not done properly for maximum longevity. All in, with heads and turbo being rebuilt, all rubber hoses on the intake, all new oiling parts, I spent over $6k and did the work myself. To me it was not worth the investment but my son wanted to do it. He plans on keeping the car for a long time. Good luck with whichever way you choose. I feel your pain...[emoji17] Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  12. Thank you! I took them apart and scrubbed the 14 years worth of carbon and gunk out of them, and put them back together the same way they came apart. I guess I did it right cuz we are over 1000 miles and no fault codes...[emoji106] Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  13. Yep, they were. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  14. Some leftover stuff from the engine install. Some hoses with part numbers, Gates timing belt tensioner, miscellaneous seals and gaskets. Make an offer for some or all. Picked up in 17552, Mount Joy PA. Add $15 to your offer if you need it shipped...this schitt ain't cheap no more...[emoji849] Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  15. From a 2008 OBXT, 170,xxx miles. Cylinder #2 rod bearing failure. Ran for less than 10 minutes after noise started. Engine spins free. Cross hatches still visible in cylinders. Some light surface rust from sitting in the shop. It's in the box the new one came in so it's shippable if you want to pay for it. $200 picked up in 17552. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
