  1. Thanks for the response. I'm looking into cases where people used the AVOJDM kit and it seems like It also requires modification to work, although it seems like less work than the extensive 3D printing you did. I'm primarily trying to make sure that this kit can hold the head unit in in a way that it wouldn't just fly off in a crash and concuss someone, or that it is held securely enough that the mount won't just break itself over time. https://www.subaruoutback.org/threads/2005-2009-outback-legacy-radio-kit.374193/ https://www.subaruoutback.org/threads/2005-2009-outback-legacy-audio-system-upgrade.380226/#post-4359026
  2. Hi all, I have the ATOTO S8 Gen2 Premium S8G2114PM head unit which I wish to fit in the dash cubby spot between the AC vents. I have a 2006 legacy 2.5i with the cubby and no nav. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about that? I think EatingInternet was also working with a (smaller) ATOTO head unit so maybe the mounting for the Chinese version of "double DIN" would be the same. I saw the discussion of the AliExpress 9" dash kit but was wondering if I could use that to mount it and just have the head unit protrude further out of the dash to avoid interference between the 10.1" screen and the 9" surround. Alternately, the ATOTO S8 comes with(what seems to be a standard) single DIN mounting bracket. Might it just be easiest to shell out the $140 (Including shipping) and buy the AvoJDM single din dash kit?
