Nickz31se-r
I have read some posts regarding peoples opinions on the setup (disclaimer:drunk) as far as pros and cons, personal opinions etc. Well after driving the wagon for 1 month on the stock suspension here are my thoughts. After coming from my coil over equipped SE-R det(aka stiff, plus every known solid mount) I was not used to the old man ready wagon. At first the civility of the thing was great, drive over anything, and well you will float over clouds. However, in truth the road feel and connection to the road is nonexistent (aka intolerable). This is how I can sum up the change. Bilstein Pink Combo Pros- actually able to drive the car and understand what it is doing, drive hard with confidence, respectable/liveable street/sport setup Cons- nothing, if the "loss in ride quality" bothers you, buy a Taurus This setup is great, sway bars soon to come, they will only add to my smile, this I am sure of. Crappy before pics Oh yeah I have my new wheels and tires http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c311/ZtinkyBritches/DSCN0623.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c311/ZtinkyBritches/DSCN0624.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c311/ZtinkyBritches/DSCN0625.jpg In transition http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c311/ZtinkyBritches/DSCN0627.jpg The One (for now, more to come) Sexy Post Wheel Suspension Combo Shot http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c311/ZtinkyBritches/DSCN0628.jpg

pdw
Can I ask where you got the Bilsteins? I've been trying to find some without spending a fortune but have had no luck. I'm about to buy the Tokicos and use Pinks on those.

pdw
+1 What are the part #'s for wagon specific pinks/blisteins? Thanks Do a search for Opie's posts. He has a site with all part numbers listed. Finding the part #'s is easy, finding the parts, not so much.
pdw
I should've mentioned that the car looks great. The ride height is perfect IMO.

Opie
+1 What are the part #'s for wagon specific pinks/blisteins? Thanks The sedan and wagon share the same Bilstein Struts/shocks and front springs, the only difference is the rear springs between the wagon & sedan. Saul_Good
There's even STI pinks that are specifically for the SpecB struts.
Nickz31se-r
Looks great! What wheels are those? They are Ray's Volk TE37 17 x 7.5 with a fresh powder coat, the tires are Toyo T1R's 225/45/17. The combo only weighs 39 lbs or said my scale. The combo made the car accelerate noticeably quicker and handle better on the stock suspension.
