quick4dr Posted June 25, 2013 Share Posted June 25, 2013 I replaced my 2 factory ground straps from my heads to frame using 4awg, I also added a 4awg ground from battery negative to fender wall. (both factory straps were corroded and brittle) I wont claim power gains or anything like that however: My FM radio has never been clearer, the background hiss that has been there since purchase is gone. I now plan to run a 4awg or maybe 8awg connection from alternator positive to battery positive, and a connection from alternator housing to battery negative Should I also run a ground from trans to frame? and from alternator housing to frame?
