Legacy2012
I have this noise coming from underneath the engine. It only occurs when the engine is cold and idling as well as when the engine is cold and when I start to accelerate in first. After it shifts to second, its gone. Now in the mornings, I would take it out of park and throw it in neutral for a hot second and back in park and the noise would be quieter. I don't have any performance issues or engine codes so I'm not leaning towards anything mechanical, but I'm not also a certified mechanic either. I just changed the differential fluid and Tranny fluid and all the levels are fine. I got underneath the car today and started it. The noise is coming from the right of the front differential. I took a hammer and knocked the catalytic converter shield a little bit but it didn't do anything. I honestly don't know what could be causing it. Maybe I'll upload a video later tonight when its cold again so the noise will occur but does anyone have any suggestions? http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w133/FoFo00/CAM00173_zps5dda20e9.jpg

Legacy2012
I'm pretty hesitant to cut it all off... all the shields are snug and id hate to cut off them and it doesn't fix the problem.
