Tangointhenight Posted May 5, 2013 Share Posted May 5, 2013 The 2004 should be fairly reliable although I wouldn't pay $9,500 for a 2004 Legacy regardless of miles. I would insist on a compression check before buying the car though, this was the point where they worked out the head gasket failures of the EJ25, but some slipped through.
