Salty
I'll be buying a second set of wheels for our car and will most likely put a hi performance snow tire on the car. I have had good luck with Pirelli 210's in my Corrado, and will also consider the Michelin Pilot Alpin, Bridgestone LM22 and perhaps a Yokohama. At any rate, I want to get the wheels early. Does anyone know if the stock WRX rim has the correct offset, hub center and will it clear our brakes? How about the old Legacy GT rim? Finally would you go 16 inch or stick with 17's in the winter? I am leaning towards 16, as I bet they actually perform better for general driving than a 17 with a 45 aspect ratio. Thanks, Bob.
SUBE555
16" wheels WILL NOT fit. The brake size requires that you use 17" wheels as minimum size.
Salty
Dang!! It seems 16" WRX rims are so reasonable on EBAY. Hopefully some Legacy owners will put their new rims up for sale when they feel the need to go 18....which I most definately don't.
Sovereignmk1
You never stated what year your Legacy was (but assuming it is an '05)...then what Sube555 said. If it's not, ('90-'04) the WRX rims will fit. //M edit: Forgot to add, The Michelin's Alpines are a good way to go; Also the Nokian Hakka Q's.
