trob2774 Posted April 17, 2013 Share Posted April 17, 2013 Anyone ever tried rebuilding one of these? Tried to press out without too much pressure but no movement so I stopped. There seems to be a lip on either side of the housing so the center piece must press out, or..... thanks for any input, they are not cheap! snederhiser Posted April 17, 2013 Share Posted April 17, 2013 Hello; Junkyard time! Was able to save my notched roller by taking a sharp scriber and prying off the seals. Washed out the double bearing, repacked with grease, and replaced seals. Usually I buy the timing kit w/water pump and replace everything in one shot. Last one cost me $130.00 delivered to my door.
