Inspector Gadget
I posted this in the Mountain West Regional forum, but thought I might get a better response here. I pulled my new-to-me Invidia catted pown pipe out of the box this morning and saw the mounting bracket was broken. Or, maybe it was modified to fit the previous owner's vehicle. Might it be for an automatic instead of a manual transmission? I have no idea, but I'm wondering if I should get it repaired before having the pipe ceramic coated. Please advise. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8534/8653583676_1aca69581a.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8539/8652483721_f9831733a8.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8255/8653585976_143e48e720.jpg It arrived in a CNT box . . . . rob-2
If it was for an auto they broke the mount to make it work. It would be wise to have it fixed before you installed it, though to be fair you don't require that mount for it stay put.
