silver03
I am looking at an 05 GT auto wagon with ~130k on it for a family member. Silver over black. T-belt etc done within last 12k miles. Runs/drives great. I feel the owner is trustworthy. He has owned the car since 35k miles. Needs tires. Air bag light is on...I've read the threads. Coolant overflow was full. Crawled under car, brought my long extended mirror and could see no symptom of external head gasket leak. Car can be bought for a little under 6k, clear title, well not salvage anyway, but still has a lien on it. Who would buy it? Who would walk away? thanks
rob-2
If it checks out and that's all you can spend, put money aside for service. From what I've read turbo will fail about 150k. I tend not to buy such high miles. Though I keep my cars till about 180k. If services well no problems. Why is coolant over filled?

BoozeRS05
Aside from being an auto trans, sounds decent. Miles don't worry me, as long as oil was changed regularly and monitored well. Ask him if it uses oil too, because it probably does use a little and if you're an owner you should be paying attention to it.
