beatBOXed
I couldn't find anything on LGT.com like this and I am sure someone could use this info (although it's easy in hindsight). I bought my "OEM" spoiler off of ebay. It obviously wasn't from Subaru and the picture on the ad looked like this:http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a259/beatboxed/T2eC16JHJF8E9nnC6U7kBRK738gsUg60_35.jpg To connect the wire harness that comes off the spoiler, first you need to remove the inside trunk cover by removing the black plastic pop-off plugs and the lift gate handle http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a259/beatboxed/59943646-29a0-4225-80dd-2d2420ba5c7a.jpg My car came stock without a spoiler, but the wire harness was still there as if it had one http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a259/beatboxed/20130311_191425.jpg The brown wire is power and the black is ground. When I cut the wires, I left enough room to wire it back to stock if needed. http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a259/beatboxed/d97ca2d9-d231-4e1b-a343-4857853d6a36.jpg Connect your new spoilers positive wire to the brown and the negative to the black. Make sure to test your brake light before you tie anything down. Cover all open wires with electrical tape and zip tie the loose wires as necessary. Reinstall the inside trunk cover, have a beer and bask in your glory.
