Brunex
I was about to change the ignition coils when I found out that the problem is coming from the wires. The test I ran was to remove the plug and connect it to the coil and let rest on the side. I started the engine and there was no spark at all. Then I switched the coils and same story, so the problem is coming from the wire itself. The plastic clip of the connector was already broken. So I opened it up and moved the terminals forward to make a better connection. Started the engine and finally a spark! but it is not as strong as the rest of the plugs. Whats really wrong here? Planning to change the connector because changing the whole wire looks impossible because it is part of the main harness...
06silvarubiLGT
They have coil connectors on eBay that work. Order one, break or dissect the old one so you don't damage the pins. Then just Repin new connector. Just make sure you lock it onto coil on reinstall. I didn't clip mine in enough and caused misfire a few days later. Brunex
And I knew about that broken clip since day One! Oh well, yeah I saw it too on ebay but do you think any chance I can get it locally? I will ask my local dealer too.
