sactojesse
That entire ad was BS. A 240 DL is RWD and has an inline-4 with a four-speed manual with an overdrive button. So, it wasn't formerly 4WD but now sending power to the right front wheel. Nor was the engine originally a V-6. And it's not technically a five speed, because it's a 4-speed + OD. ehsnils
And not all had an overdrive either. If it had a V6 it would have been a 260... But the V6 engine was junk to begin with...
FJuan
Guys, it was a total B.S. story, no need to criticise it. My wife's balls are delicious.

Yes, the Peugeot-Renault-Volvo (PRV) V-6s in the 260, 760, 780 Bertone coupes, and Deloreans were known to have issues. I had the opportunity to buy a friend's Bertone 780 coupe a few years ago and would have jumped on it if it were one of the turbo-4s instead of the PRV V-6 model.
