All diesels comes with 6MT, and quite a few gasoline cars too came with either 5MT, 5MT with dual range or 6MT depending on model year since they provide a better fuel economy, especially compared to the 4EAT. Just check that the gearing of the rear diff is the same as for the new gearbox front diff. To be on the safe side you should make sure to get the driveshaft too if you get from a newer vehicle. If you are lucky it's just a drop in, if not you may need to adjust the length of the shaft. A decent welder should be able to fix that for you. (I did that on a Volvo once where I mounted an overdrive gearbox and had to have a shorter driveshaft.)
