the pizza
Can I run stock '08 17" Legacy rims on an '05 Legacy? they look like they match up, as far as specs, but I just wanted to make sure.
jasejase
yes... assuming brakes are stock and no curve balls of that nature my wife has an 05 leggie with 2009 leggy wheels.
the pizza
thanks for the knowledge! everything is stock so i think i'm good. ima have 05 wheels up front with 08s in the rear. mismatched but I think it will look dope. nice spec B by the way;-)
jasejase
Thanks! Make sure the rolling diameters are pretty much identical (taking into account the wheel and the tire). An awd car needs to have the exact (more or less) same diameter on each corner. There are calculators online. You will need to find the tire size and know the wheel size obviously. Drift Motion
05 legacy/non gt wheels are 16", so you probably have the 205s instead of the 215s there will be slight difference in overall diameter, but probably not enough to make a difference
the pizza
both rims are 17x7. at least thats what the info said on the ebay page. the only difference was one had an offset of 50 and the other 55. I'm not sure if that's going to make a ton of difference?
Drift Motion
not enough both should have the same offset of either 55 or 53...
the pizza
how come? Is it a clearance issue with the wheel housing?
