amichalski81
my friend recommended that i come here and check out the forum for anything regarding my new 2013 legacy. i don't like to mess with the factory stereo,i only changed the radio in my old car to have the ability to use Ipod w/USB connection.i don't like to mess with replacing speakers or anything the radio works just fine. in mine is the harman kardon: is there a way to change the settings to FULLY optimize the sound? it sounded like all the speakers in FRONT were working but not in the back so i moved the fade to -1 front +1 back, but my friend said he saw on the forum here that some people would go -3 or -4 front and +3 or +4 back to get full all around sound. Does anyone have a suggestion or a link to settings like these here? it would be greatly appreciated. thanks anthony
lingling1337
Flat eq + fade all the way to the front if you want the best sound. Not that it will matter too much with a stock setup. If you really want soun from the back just fade til you like it.
amichalski81
the way my friend explained it to me,it was like there were different set numbers of the EQ to make it sound AWESOME!
KSpan
If I remember right, it's just bass, mid, and treble settings, no parametric - play with them until you're happy with the sound. Honestly though, it's an OEM system even if it's still "premium", so it will be more limited than an aftermarket setup.
