Check out the price of ATS RWD V6 Premium with magnetic dampers and decent options. I doubt it would be less than that. I hope I'm wrong though.

It's a caddi, they always have a premium over chevy but in this case the ATS does not have a 420hp v8 and that makes it hard to compare. I would hope they would bring the base v8 model in at just under 40k but we will have to wait and see.

Well, if you like the VF Commodore pics, the SS won't be too different.

The new "GTO" was essentially just a carry over from Australia, as was the G8. I'd expect some minor front end styling changes and a LHD conversion, but that's about it.

The G8 interior was not impressive at all.

I think the interior looks pretty nice. Better than a toyota tundra anyway. The exterior isn't that great but we will have to see what the US version looks like.

It's important to note, the Commodore has a wide range of trim levels in Australia. It has everything from base V6 models up to V8 sport models to luxury models.

There's a pretty good variety of exterior styling options between them all. For all we know, and I kind of suspect it, the blue car is a luxury model.

Edit: The Blue car IS the luxury model as indicated by the front tag. "Calais" denotes the luxury models.

Well the materials quality doesn't look that great, and having a better looking interior than a 6 year old design on a pickup truck offered in several trim levels is nothing to brag about.

An interior which toyota still uses and therefore can be compare when comparing new to new vehicles.

Now THIS is more like it. SSV has historically denoted Holden's top performing models, just like STi, AMG, SVT etc.

Beautiful car. Please, please, please price it close to a Charger R/T(Probably won't happen).

If they brought over the full trim lines there would be a car similar in price to the R/T, but unfortunately right now we're just getting one limited production model. Although, they've said depending on the public's reaction and how this sells, the next generation SS will be completely redesigned and built in America.

Welp, I guess we'll find out tomorrow!
