Bad Chariot
So as the title says I can have the heat on and as I start toggling the MODE to change the vents, when I get to the floor & Defrost icon, the A/C turns on. Any idea why?
I Donated thefultonhow Posted November 29, 2012 I Donated Share Posted November 29, 2012 Because defrost (defog) requires AC to work properly.

Dbl_D718
The A/C dehumidifies the air, which defogs your windshield way faster. It won't defrost it faster tho. You can still turn the A/C off if you want. MODS: PW TMIC, Cobb catted DP, HKS cat-back, AVO filter, Bren e-tune; Konis/Epics, Advan RCII
quick4dr
with the AC on you get hot dry air = less foggy windshield. AC off = moist air and foggy windshield.
