Mill
I'm just curious if I really need a tune for TGV deletes and a 3" aluminum inlet being that it is post MAF. I know I'll have to reflash for TGV codes, but is a tune necessary? I've heard mixed opinions on this. I'm running the stock intake and Infamous Rev4 (probably rich). Stock turbo as well, but I went for a bigger inlet just in case of any future plans.
bnguyenbb6
I wouldn't think so. Any extra flow will pull more on the maf. Should be fine.
Mill
Thats interesting... my guess would be that the TGV restriction is great enough that psi must be higher to move air past them. Take away that restriction and its like taking the nozzle off a hose. Loss of pressure but you are still moving a greater amount of air at that lesser pressure. Thanks for your input, everybody.
