Anyone know what length those 17mm caliper bracket bolts are?

I would use the OEM ones. You are talking about the thing that holds your brakes onto your car here. Is saving $2 real worth it in the grand scheme of things?

The one that holds the caliper bracket to the spindle? I broke the bottom one doing a brake job a few years ago. I forget the measurement but the closest I could get a parts store in the right diameter and thread pitch was too long and I had to cut it down with a dremal. Bought a replacement from the dealership later that week and replaced it. Just pay the man and do it right.
