xkazik Posted September 14, 2012 Share Posted September 14, 2012 My airbag light just came on out of no where , but when i turned off the car it was off , now couple days later it showed up again .The research i have done is telling me its possibly the map lamp assembly or the wires under the seat . I need help from you guys to solve this problem and i have couple questions , should the over head say passenger air bad off when there's none there ? or should it say on just have the no red seat belt sign ? trickniner Posted September 16, 2012 Share Posted September 16, 2012 I've had a couple of occasions where the airbag light comes on. I had never heard that the map light assembly could be the source. I can tell you that in my '07 when the passenger seat is empty it will say "Off" next to the airbag light up top. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
zrosignal Posted September 23, 2012 Share Posted September 23, 2012 Just tonight I had somebody riding with me and noticed the airbag light was on and the passenger airbag indicator still said "off".
