Blumpkin
So it took 3 ECU's, and a SOA engineer coming to the dealership to figure it out. A wire in the wiring harness behind the gauge cluster came loose and was sparking, causing shorts throughout the whole electronic system. The up side is that I don't have to pay for a new gauge cluster or ECU or wiring harness, the downside... I have to pay for a new Body Control Module, 950 bucks. I am jsut happy that I will have my car back in a week at the most.

ericem
but it wasn't the body control module......... Sounds like someone pulled out the cluster to roll it back (or something?) and messed up....
Blumpkin
it caused shorts in both the ecu and the body control module. I bought it at 62000 miles, which was an appropriate mileage, I think a wire just slipped out, shit happens ya know?
