btillfan1948
I own a 08 LGT. OK, that has nothing to do with anything. However my wife's 2010 Impreza has a strong smell of gas inside the car. Anyone that has any input on this subject please jump in to help. Thanks.
katalyst
i might check the fuel lines. this has been a known issue for the EJ series engines in colder weather see this thread for reference, this link will send to you page two as it has some photographs of the hose clamps in discussion: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/fix-report-gas-smell-again-whine-start-up-154233p2.html the cabin air intake for the legacy is on the drivers side (not sure if the same on impreza) so usually people will just clamp or mitigate the issue on the drivers side fuel lines so the smell won't emanate to the intake.
