Thunderbolt catalytic converters, anyone tried them?

I've been checking out high flow catalytic converters lately because I'm going to be buying a downpipe for my LGT soon, probably be picking up a used catless DP instead of a used catted, to save a little money.

I've been poking around on the net and came across these...

Metalic:

Ceramic:

Now, what are the pro's/con's from ceramic vs metalic? According to this website the ceramic has 400 holes per square inch and the metalic has 300 holes per square inch, so that would mean there is more flow with the metalic....right? Metalic cores are thinner than ceramic so the holes are bigger, I'm guessing. Heat will probably not be an issue, I am going to stick it near the back of the DP like Cobb, if I can get away with clearance and which ever one I choose will decide where it goes though

Has anyone used this particular brand or know anyone who has? Pretty cheap and seem to be just as good as the more expensive ones from what I can tell.

For now, yes. I will eventually be getting a catback. I want a cat to help with the sound. Every single exhaust recording I've heard from these cars, I do not like it w/o a cat. I even ran hi flow cats on my 2001 Camaro SS that was completely built because it helped with the noise/rasp.
