Zombaru Posted August 28, 2012 Share Posted August 28, 2012 2000 Legacy GT Driving on the highway. 4th gear, 100km/h. And it isn't holding 4th gear like it usually does. (as if ignoring the torque converter like in a standard) i slowed down to 60km/h for a red light ahead. It changed to green and i went WOT but it wouldnt down to 3rd it stayed in 4th and lagged hard. I used the shifter to move it to 3rd and it shifted with a slam. it sounded like i hit a pot hole . but it was freshly paved. i put the car in neutral thinking it was a glitch. back to drive.... slam. So, back to neutral still rolling at ~70km/h turned the engine off and back on. shift to drive and.... smooth into 4th. Went WOT and it shifted to 3rd no problem and smooth again. back to 100km/h and in 4th its holding the gear like it should. 30 min later it lags (-0.3g) ish and after that starts all over again.
