New to Subaru, new to this forum, questions on exhaust and intake on '09

Hi all,

Got a new to me '09 Subaru and considering some mods. Most are aesthetic, but on the topic of performance:

 

A couple questions...

1. Will installing a K&N air intake require ECU reprogram?
   
2. Will installing a new performance exhaust like a Borla require ECU reprogram?
   
3. Will these mods void a warranty?

Any input from of the experts here? I know my questions are pretty pedestrian, but I could use some input.

 

If the cat back says it's 7-10% boost, and the filter is 14.9 HP (http://www.carid.com/2009-subaru-legacy-air-intakes/kn-air-intakes-typhoon-series-324597.html)

 

What does this do to a 2.5i?

 

170 + 14.9 + (170*.10)

 

199?

No on intake

 

Exhaust, More of noise maker than anything, You can put one if you want but if its an automatic? Don't

 

Warranty on the exhaust will depend on what you did to it

 

I say don't do any of it
