kmich680
Just want to give a update on the outcome of all the work. Picked up the car Wednesday after having the head gasket replaced and so far no more overheating! so for anyone having an issue with overheating, it could be head gaskets even if there aren't strong signs. Thanks again for all the help!
SGT Daddy
Do you have a MT? If so the install is much easier. With a 5EAT you will need an external ATF Cooler. Pic 1 is with Mishimoto. Pic 2 is OEM. The Mishimoto is almost 2x thicker. Pic 1 http://i1068.photobucket.com/albums/u450/Fidelamaya26/DSC00110.jpg Pic 2 http://i1068.photobucket.com/albums/u450/Fidelamaya26/IMG_20120203_114211.jpg I have my Gates Kit arriving today along with a new T-Stat. What part number did you use for your new radiator and external T-cooler? How much harder is it to install? Also whats recommend for new hoes? Thank you ro the OP on this, glad the dealer took care of the fixes. That is not very common on used cars.
