TylerSVT
Is the 5spd that good of a trans? Like can it handle 270-300whp?
Chris GTO TT
The Spec B isn't really any faster than a stock LGT. It's a little more sporty, a bit more nicely trimmed, and a bit more comfortable. It's also the heaviest of the BL Legacies. Most of it's handling prowess can be attributed to the tires. The Bilsteins are still pretty soft for a sport sedan. Best thing about the 07 - 09 Spec B is the trans, and that's the real reason to buy one. Especially if you plan on doing a big turbo. The aluminum control arms are there to save weight. They bolt right up to the normal GT. So unless you really want the 6spd, I'd stick to the normal GT and have more money for other mods. All very true, but also remember that a chunk of that weight gain is from the 6spd 2003 Baja 5MT 2016 Outback 2.5i Premium w/Eyesight
StoplightAssassin
Is the 5spd that good of a trans? Like can it handle 270-300whp? it should handle that and then some. it all depends on how you drive. if you wanted to go beyond 350 whp, the Spec B would be a good idea
