suboogru
I went to the local exhaust place to have them make me a cbe because the stock stuff was rusted out. I told them 3" to the split, then 2.5" to each muffler. i went to pick it up after work today and looked at it and it was 2.5" from cat to the split, then 2.5" to each muffler. i drove it home because i needed tranportation but was unsure about it. Is it going to hurt having full 2.5" or does it have to taper down. Im not looking for performance gains i just want to make sure its not going to hurt my car. thanks for any insight
Justin3390
You should be fine. Did you say anything to them about that? I'm assuming you paid a little more to get the 3" and they gave you 2.5"
suboogru
I didnt pay any extra for the 3". it was a fair deal either way and it was just a verbal agreement, so nothing to really go back on them about. they did an excellent job on the fab/welds but i was just nervous about the size because every other cbe is 3"/2.5". i guess he just forgot about the 3" midpipe conversation. as long as its not going to fudge up my car im not getting into a pissing contest with them.
