LegacyKid5 Posted July 19, 2012 Share Posted July 19, 2012 So I've got a cobb red 5mt shift knob currently at home and a cobb short throw shifter on the way and I've been considering ordering a redline boot to install with it. My issue is deciding on color, I like the idea of black leather with red stitching to tie in with the knob but I'm not sure how it would look with the taupe interior and can't imagine a e-brake boot to match looking very good. So I've thought about possibly doing a tan shifter boot with red stitching or just keeping it all black and just getting it made shorter. Just looking for thoughts as I am indecisive. EDIT: Also, obviously the shifter is adjustable so there isn;t an exact length it will be shortened by, but for those of you who have purchased new shift boots, about how much shorter would you recommend going than stock?
