sailor
Hi all, Am considering a 2005 GT Limited AT wagon, black, with very low mileage - just over 32k miles. Having it inspected at a Suby dealer in CT Wednesday (tomorrow). Carfax raises a couple of questions: failed emissions test something like 6 times in a row over March - May of 09, then passed (looks like engine, powertrain and computer module checked/services before finally passing. There was at least 1 other fail earlier on, but 2nd try passed. Seems to have been serviced pretty regularly. Also listed is damage on 12/23/2008 in NY state, but no details. Dealer wonders if might be something on a door? Car very clean. VIN = 4s3bp676054337298. Listed as 3 owners, but sold at auction a couple of times, and not held onto for long at the end. A warning sign? Anyone come across this car before? Spent most of its time in Brooklyn and NY, then VT (Burlington and Greensboro area) at the very end for a couple of months, now in CT. Any and all info, suggestions most welcome. Thanks in advance, ben (just joined on reco of a friend who loves his 2005 MT wagon).
Drift Motion
the auction part is probably because some dealer bought it, and resold it and i'd say check all the body panel to see if there is replacement
sailor
Bought the car (2005, AT black on black wagon, with 32k miles) on Saturday, loving it so far! So much more fun than my old 2002 AT WRX. Looking forward to learning a lot here. best, ben
