suboogru Posted June 29, 2012 Share Posted June 29, 2012 I was telling my brother about the HOGZAUST mod and he ask me the question "why don't you make your car single exhaust because its better for a turbo car than duals?". Im not a tuner nor is he so I don't know if that's true or not. My question is would a single exhaust system be any better or worse performance wise for the LGT? 05 LegacyGT Posted June 29, 2012 Share Posted June 29, 2012 I'm not an expert but I don't think you would see any performance gains from a single exhaust over dual. The Legacy exhaust isn't a full dual exhaust. It's a single exhaust through the turbo and back to the rear axle where it splits off to the two mufflers. It'll be louder because the sound is not diverted two ways and only benefits i can see is one less can so less money and weight maybe better straight flow although our stock exhaust flow really well already.
