mk6933 Posted June 10, 2012 Share Posted June 10, 2012 I just got my Autospeed installed and its way too loud for my taste. It has a VERY deep tone, sounds very nice and pretty loud, IMO. I already have super dark tint (5% rear, 20% front, 50% windshield), no front plate, and don't want more reasons to get pull over. I want something quiet, SPT or Borla. The tips/cans aren't lined up yet. I was planning to take it to a muffler shop to get it fixed. The hangers I got from AutoZone & Pep Boys are way too long. Code Posted June 12, 2012 Share Posted June 12, 2012 I have one as well. I had to replace the resonator with a 5" Borla xr-1 muffler because it was so loud . Now it has a very nice deep tone with no rasp and way less drone at cruise. Fwiw mine took a bit of work to fit properly, but it's tucked nice and tight to the bumper. The double wall tips allow you to get it very close with no heat issues. Good luck with your trade.
