It has high miles but it is now my project and I want to know if there are ways to upgrade my turbo and pretty much the whole car. Anything bolt on would be a great help, but I am open to any suggestions Thanks for looking. Please help this is my first car and I don't want to get rid of it at all. monkeyposeur Posted May 20, 2012 Share Posted May 20, 2012 If you want to upgrade your turbo without doing a ton of modifications you can put a TD04 on there, along with a top mount inter cooler. You will have to modify the y pipe to get it to fit. An '06-07 WRX tmic will be a direct fit. An '02 tmic can be made to fit by bashing in your firewall. The possibilities are endless for your SS.
