issue with night shades on headlights

Recommended Posts

ok so i tinted my tail lights slightly with VHTs night shades. came out very well with no issues. now im trying to throw a light smoked tint on my headlights but am having an issue with the paint cracking. looks like a lightning storm on my headlight.:spin:and yes i do know some what to what im doing i cleaned the headlight very well with rubbing alcohol.

so after some searching i then tried duplicolor adhesion promoter. with no luck that also did the same.

i understand that they do have film for this. i understand that is an option. but trying to see if anyone has any ideas before i go that route.

thanks ahead of time for any help
