boostedgrocerygetter
ok so i tinted my tail lights slightly with VHTs night shades. came out very well with no issues. now im trying to throw a light smoked tint on my headlights but am having an issue with the paint cracking. looks like a lightning storm on my headlight.:spin:and yes i do know some what to what im doing i cleaned the headlight very well with rubbing alcohol. so after some searching i then tried duplicolor adhesion promoter. with no luck that also did the same. i understand that they do have film for this. i understand that is an option. but trying to see if anyone has any ideas before i go that route. thanks ahead of time for any help
I Donated Too laff79 Posted May 17, 2012 I Donated Too Share Posted May 17, 2012 for night shades to look right, you have to sand down the clearcoat first.
chutrain
What's the humidity where you are spraying. Can cause issues.

boostedgrocerygetter
actually spray can be taken off quite easily. not as easy as vinyl but paint thinner will take it right off. and no it wont hurt the headlight.
