Symptoms: TERRIBLE gas mileage 8-9mpg, jerks when accelerates, hesitates when i step on gas if the car is cold. Opinions??? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

NGK plugs, subaru wires, PVC, air filter, oil filter.........? other things that will kill mpg, dragging brakes, bad o2 or knock sensors, lots of idling. how many miles on this car? how long have you had it? has it always run like this? Has 155k owned it for 5 years and put 35k on it. Was in an accident last July and was hit on the front right...replaced fender Hood bumper cover...didn't notice any engine problems until recently. Past 2-3 months the mileage been getting worse until finally a code posted which is staying. Was initially thinking o2 sensors since it is dumping out gas and running rich, but am not sure.
