I need plug wires on my car, and I found a set of these blue STI wires at a local junkyard for 5 bucks. It came off a 1.8 impreza, so no idea if they'll even fit, hoping you guys could shed some light on the subject. To be honest I just bought em because it says STI.... johnegg Posted May 1, 2012 Share Posted May 1, 2012 they should fit an ej22 but not a ej25. the DOHC plug boots are a different shape. that's not to say you could not force it , but not an ideal situation. buy subaru wires on line ~$45, or a local HIGH quality set of wires. the dohc engine does not like cheap wires. you could have mis-fies right out of the box.
