prime90 Posted April 30, 2012 Share Posted April 30, 2012 I recently bought this legacy and their is a strange problem when I try to go into the manumatic. The problem is it works 10% of the time. For instance I'll first start it up and put it in manumatic, the gears wont display on the dash nor can I shift up or down. It basically wont engage and acts like automatic. But later, sitting at a stop light, Id slide the shifter over again to manumatic and it would work (very rare). while driving in manumatic it would then shut off down the road. I don't suspect any thing is wrong with the transmission per-say because it shifts flawlessly in automatic. I think it might be a connection issue but I have no idea where to look. Does anybody have suggestions? Thank you! P.S. My gas gauge also doesn't register properly only works 50% of the time. Not sure if it has anything to do with it but I'd thought i'd include it.
