Yeti77
I bought a 1999 Legacy cheap, and so far love it. The only issue is that when the car is cold the 1-2 shift is pretty hard. Once warmed up there are no problems and the car shifts great. I've searched all over and had people suggest everything from a new valve body to a trans flush. I was hoping some owners who have had the same issue and fixed it might be able to weigh in. Thanks! Mike
bjmsdrum00
I know that I am waking up an old thread here, but I am having the same problem. The engine revs higher then slams into gear when cold. Did you, or does anybody else, have any insight on this?
Kiyo1990
Could be a bad transmission, but have you checked the level yet?
KPMunster
I've heard that doing a tranny flush and filter change helps some tranny problems, something to do with hydraulics or something. So maybe after it warms up the fluid runs through better. But thats just what i've heard. Hope this helps
