Triskite
I took out the navigation unit from my 08 spec b and decided to clean up my windshield and move my Sirius and Bionic car dock to the dash/cubby area- to do this, I created a new attachment piece for the dock that does not use a suction cup. Here's a video: Here's the blog post with Google Sketchup file and files for 3d printer: http://uselesspuzzles.blogspot.com/2012/04/in-dash-hack-for-droid-bionic-car-dock.html I got a 3D printer (makerbot replicator) a few days ago so if you have any custom pieces you need for hacks/mods msg me http://www.scribl.it/3dstuff/willstuff/rsz_cardock.png
underground000
awesome!!! I had wish I had something like this cause theres so many times I would like to fab up something. I'm gonna keep your SN for any future project ideas if you make a larger rectangular piece and mount the mount you made to that, then use double sided foam tape to hold everything together. your mount would be flush with the opening and the larger rectangular piece you made would be mounted to the inside of the opening - 3m emblem tape is strong stuff 5eat downshift rev match:) Powder coated wheels: completed:)
