adler Posted July 7, 2005 Share Posted July 7, 2005 im going to order some gold tarmac IIs for my 98Legacy Ooutback. the question is will a 17x7.5 wheel with a 225/45/17 tire rub? the vendor isnt familiar with outbacks/legacys ,more imprezas than legacys/OBs, and thinks that might rub, suggesting i should maybe look at a 215 instead. a check on tire rack suggests a 225/50/17 size combo, so from what i understand of tire sizing a 225/45 would be ok. math was never my best subject, so tire sizing really tires me out *rimshot* anybody know?
