zmarko
Hey guys, I picked up a '10 Miata Touring about a month ago, and got one of these rear lips from this vendor. They're painted (I supplied the paint code for my Miata), and they stick on with 3M double sided tape (on the lip when you get it). Just line it up, peel and stick it down. These are pretty popular on the Miatas, and not sure if anyone here had bought one and used it. If so, and there's a thread, my apologies, I don't come to the Exterior section of this forum much. If not, hope someone buys one and posts up how it looks. Here's the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/USA-Painted-Subaru-Legacy-04-09-Sedan-TRUNK-LIP-SPOILER-/280852734078?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item416420a07e Here's a picture of one installed on my Miata. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v319/zmarko/Rearlip1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v319/zmarko/Rearlip2.jpg

zmarko
I don't get what you're trying to say. Of course it would be designed for the Legacy, NOT the Miata if that's what you're saying. Or are you commenting on it's flexibility? People have had these on their Miata's for 4 years without any problems. :dontknow:
charlie_sheen
no its just our cars are bigger, and they need one like the rrev lip to look decent. these are too thin. its like putting a painted pubic hair on the trunk
zmarko
The Jetta in the pic in the auction is about the same size as a legacy and I think it looks good on there. But maybe thats just me.

Paint match was perfect Kenny I was looking at their front lip for the Miatas, and posted about it on the miata forum. Haven't heard back from anyone there in regards to having tried one yet though. I think it looks good on the LGT!

zmarko
I just painted one of my pubic hairs and put it next to my painted lip on my trunk. Didn't look the same. Maybe these lips are ok after all!

Its on there w 3m super tape. Its not going anywhere! how wide is that lip? I have a dent in my trunklid from the previous owner slamming it shut too hard. I need something about 1.5" wide to cover it, thought this might do the trick possibly...
lucas569
Ya its bigger than 1.5" id measure it but its pouring out
Bdog22
I think I recall some other members using these on the upper rear window as an upper spoiler/finishing effect. Looked pretty nice. Might be slightly different though.
