ZIEX ZE-912 - trackable??

I realize these are nowhere near a decent track tires. I used star specs in the past and was hoping I will have these also for oncoming Putnam Park 4/15. Cash might be an issue though so I am considering driving on my DD wheels/tires. It will be on april 15th and so far it doesn't look like it should be warmer than 60. I know I am looking for excuses but considering the temperature do you think these could be half decent on the track. I know I won't be able to push the car as much as I would on star specs but I think I might be ok with that. I am just wondering if 2 hours of tracking will totally ruin them. These are really nice DD tires so it would be a shame to kill them on the track.

high-perf all season tire?

UTQG rating: 480 A-A (60 & 65 series) or 360 AA-A (55 series and lower)

after 2 hours of turns 7,8, & 9 (unless you are crawling), you'll have extreme chunking on the outside edges. On top of which, you'll void your treadwear warranty. Trust me on this (500 miles on a set of all-seasons with 2 hours of track time...discount tire laughed me out of the store)

This site, http://www.treadzone.com/tireList.aspx , has some good deals on star specs... $120/each

yeh I am way beyond warranty concerns at this point but it would be a shame to kill decent DD tires. I guess I will get cheapest 17x8 I can find at discount tire and put the old star specs on
