Need help with headlight install HID > HID

Hi,

I have a couple of questions, first some background;

I have a JDM BG legacy with projectors and Catz HID kit installed.

I bought some Morettes that previously had a Bellof HID kit installed.

Both headlights have H1 globe holders.

Problem 1.

I was planning to swap the existing kit into the Morettes by simply putting the existing globes into the Morettes but came across a problem, the existing Catz kit has an extra wire plugged onto the globe holder.

Catz globe holder...

Morette globe holder...

So what should I do here?

I know nothing about electrics and less about HID's.

Problem 2.

The high beams on the Morettes have some extra wires spliced in. You can see here...

From the HB there's a yellow wire spliced into the blue wire.

From the park/city light there's a brown wire spliced into the brown wire.

From the park/city light there's a black wire spliced into the yellow wire.

High beam > blue/brown > blue+yellow/brown

Park light > yellow/brown > yellow+black/brown+brown

So there are 3 extra wires and I don't know what to do with them.

I'm assuming it's grounding to get lights to come on together but not sure if I can tape them up and ignore them or not.

Advice appreciated.

Thanks.

Yeah, are they not showing up?

Someone suggested the extra wires spliced into the HB could have been for fogs which makes sense.

And I'm pretty sure that extra wire plugged into the side of the globe holder on the stock projectors is an earth, just not sure what to do with it.

After pulling the back off the other pair it seems they use that big cylindrical post to attach the ground to so I would need to change the plug on the existing kit (if there's enough wire length).
