jamal Posted March 22, 2012 Share Posted March 22, 2012 there is no difference in gear size/strength between any 90-02 5-speed. in around 03/04 they started putting in slightly wider gears commonly known as the 05+ LGT gearset. Note I said slightly. You do need a turbo front crossmember and swaybar to clear the exhaust manifold and up-pipe. The biggest challenge of doing something like this IS NOT getting the parts to physically fit. Pretty much everything is a bolt in deal. The hard part is actually wiring the car so it actually works. Well im gonna use a 2.5GT as a platform for the 2.5T motor so the wiring shouldnt be so bad. it wont be as bad as the wrx neon we just finished up Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
