rens914 Posted March 20, 2012 Author Share Posted March 20, 2012 youre right, and the way to find out what is to erase possibilities. first one is the gas cap. when de CEL comes back in it's not that forgot to say that the car is running on LPG almost all the LPG cars have CEL lights kicking in it seems to be a matter of higher temperature. lamda sonde can't handle that or gives a faulty code. when the light comes back in i'll ask my son to read out the ecu. rens Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
06silvarubiLGT Posted March 20, 2012 Share Posted March 20, 2012 I had a knock sensor go and it wouldnt pull a CEL but would turn the cruise light on... eventually CEL came on telling me it was the knock sensor, but it took me forever to figure out what was doing it.. rens914 Posted March 22, 2012 Author Share Posted March 22, 2012 the codes were erhmmm there was something about the airflow meter and something with the catalic converter. my garage has reset the ecu and thinks it has something to do with moving my boat and trailer (3500 kg) the ecu could have reacted on the readings the CEL lighted up the day after the mecanic thinks the ERG could be dirty will clean it next week car runs really great on LPG i fill her up with a smile every time gr rens Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
