itzed
2006 2.5i, SOHC. So I broke the pulley bolt loose using the starter method, and I'm ready to remove that and the timing belt cover. My question is, how do I now turn the engine to get the timing marks aligned? Do I really need to? I assume I still should have them at TDC to before I remove the old belt, pulleys, and waterpump. Is it ok to move the engine by turning a cam? Should I have it "jogged" by someone and just get it close? The manual lists a special tool to turn the crank, which of course I don't have.
