teksimian
Hi, I'm planning to drop my 07 spec.b onto some Swifts. To minimize on any future work, what other suspension work/mods could I consider doing while I'm at it? Thanks,
chutrain
Depends on how much you want to spend and ride you are looking for. I didn't like my stock Spec B Bilsteins so I went with Konis. Upgraded sway bars, end links, and rear stout mounts that I addressed with mine.
Spoonwacker
The stock LCA bushings will probably be headed out the door soon (mine were shot at 60k), so you might as well replace those. Sway bars are nice, too. Saggy butt spacers might be a good idea - the Bilsteins' tophats make the front ride higher than a regular LGT, which is particularly noticeable on a lowered car, but it's worse for wagons. sorry...this forum practically blows goat nuts so im not always on here.Team Pony Express POSTED FROM MY COMPUTER USING A WEB BROWSER
teksimian
thanks for the info. I'm probably going to go with the 1/2" spacers. Are there any issues with fitting the extender bolts? bumpity **
Spoonwacker
Not sure which extender bolts you're talking about. I used Geo Metro wheel studs to replace the top hat studs, since they have the same thread pitch but are a little longer. Those gave me just enough thread to get the nuts fully threaded with the 3/8" spacers. I hear that some vendors now sell studs for that purpose, but I haven't checked to see if they're any longer (or different at all) than the Metro studs I used. http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2376821&postcount=142 sorry...this forum practically blows goat nuts so im not always on here.Team Pony Express POSTED FROM MY COMPUTER USING A WEB BROWSER

With my custom spacers, I'm just using some Grade 10.9 hardware.
